I am today going to print off my coursework and hand it in. Overall I am happy with my coursework as I felt I did well to recover from some technological setbacks that were of great inconvenience along the way.

What have I achieved:

In my free periods over the last few weeks I have made final alterations and completed my evaluation questions using different means of technologies.

What Have I Achieved Today:

Today I completed my second draft of the front cover and double page spread and documented the construction of it.

What I achieved today:

 

I began working on photoshop to gather some evidence of my photoshop skills and justification and proof of my product and how I went about editing.

 

 

 

 

What Have I achieved:

I began my prezi presentation of Question 1, target audience research justification and research.

What have I achieved:

I accumulated my construction printscreens in preparation for them to be uploaded on my blog, when the contents page has been completed. Some minor technical set-backs were forced upon me, which have delayed the progress of my construction.

What I achieved today:

I finished the first draft of my contents page

What I achieved today:

I completed my first draft of my front cover, double page spread and started to construct my initial draft of the contents page for my 'ARDOR' Music Magazine. I have also screenshot all of my progress as I progressed throughout the task.

What Have I Achieved Today:

I gathered printscreens from previous sessions to create a printscreen timeline of my progression and construction and to justify my decisions made. I have begun using photoshop to edit chosen photos of which will later feature on my Music Magazine 'Ardor' Contents page.

Today I began constructing my contents page on photoshop.

What have I achieved today:

I altered my double page spread accordingly, taking in the feedback I received from peers. It was shortened and then added to my double page spread construction, from this I made necessary changes to achieve the desired look I hoped to achieve from the start.

What I achieved today:

Today I began to construct my double page spread and article and image on photoshop.

What I achieved Today:

I converted relevant files on my blog and began to get feedback for my double page spread, considering the constructive feedback and beginning to edit it.

What I achieved today:

Today I finished my article and interview that will feature in my Music Magazine 'Ardor', I have started to get constructive feedback on it and that will be posted in the near future.



 



What have I achieved today?

I worked on my article and interview to feature on my double page spread of my final Music Magazine Construction which will be worked on and completed in the very near future. The literature includes an introductive summary of the subjects of interests, their story and relevant information about their background. I then progress onto an interview asking many different questions, quoting both subjects of interests in each.

Photography Tutorial Session:

Today, Tuesday the 22nd of October 2013, we had a photography session, teaching us how to use the equipment and Woking Colleges facilities, as well as how to explore our own skills as photographers and key aspects to consider and tips to keep in mind when taking our final photos for our music magazines.
Firstly, before all, in order to go about completing a photography session to gain our desired images utilising Woking College's facilities we are expected to book the photography studio by going to the Art Block and finding a teacher or technician to formally request a slot and period of time in which to use the facilities, from there we must approach our Media tutors and make them aware of any time we have booked into the photography studio.
The Photography studio etiquette must be revised before entering the room, this primarily includes having no food or drink in the studio to prevent costly damage, one must also refrain from sticking things onto the walls of the studio.
Some key tips and advice I acquired from this tutorial was very valuable to me, I gained an insight and brief knowledge of photography and how to really take photos and what to have in mind when doing so. One key tip was to not have the image going directly through the magazine as this wouldn't look attractive as on a double page spread, the page would be split in half and any image that is presented directly in the middle could be and would be distorted by the splitting of the page, as well as it looking irrelevant and unattractive, aesthetically.
Some primary things that we should always do when taking photographs, particularly of the models for our music magazine is to experiment with the depth of field and look at what different depths of field look like and what the depths of fields connote and represent and see if the connotations and representations of the depth of field we explore and choose reflect our music magazine genre and target audience, to see if it is parallel and relevant to it. This also applies to the mise en scene of our images, the attention to detail is absolutely vital and the background must be as relevant and appropriate and connote and represent the intended ideologies and stereotypes that the main focal images would do. For our main images the lighting, pose, models, clothing, gestures, body positions and quality of the images and camera is key.

I uploaded my Music Magazine Name research and looked into survey monkey ready for completion next lesson.

What Have I achieved?

I accumulated my survey monkey research results and compiled the data ready for uploading next lesson. I experimented with different fonts and got a class result and general consesus and from there decided what I would call it and what font.

What I achived today?

I completed various tasks that I failed to complete in the past and polished designs and photos ready to put on my blog nest session.

What I achieved today:

I completed my draft of the Preliminary task of my PULSE Woking College Magazine and finished my Cover Page and Contents Page, I examined them and compared them to the written/drawn interpretation draft of what I hoped it would look like and feel happy with what I have produced. I have become more confident using photoshop in this task.
